Top 5 upcoming PS3 games of late 2012

Call of Duty: Black Ops II
The Call of Duty franchise has blown away sales records and the upcoming Black Ops II is very likely to do the same after already breaking the Amazon single day pre-order sales record. There have been complainers who say that Call of Duty is almost the same game year after year with no big changes. Black Ops II will be the first Call of Duty to take place in the future and feature future weapons and technology. It will be a direct sequel to the first Black Ops and will have a branching storyline that also takes place in the past.

Assassins Creed III
The highly anticipated sequel in the fan favorite franchise will feature a brand new protagonist named Connor Kenway. The game will take place in colonial America during the American Revolution. The developer, Ubisoft, has said that this game will be bigger than its previous Assassin’s Creed games. The game will also see the conclusion of the Desmond Miles story.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter
Medal of Honor: Warfighter is a direct sequel to 2010s rebooted Medal of Honor. The game will run on the same game engine as the popular Battlefield 3. The campaign mode features Tier 1 military operators in a global fight against the war on terror. One thing that really intrigues me is that the story is written by active US Tier 1 Operators who were deployed overseas and inspired by real world events.

WWE ‘13
The next installment of the WWE video game series will look to improve on many aspects from the previous WWE games. The story mode will take place in the Attitude Era which lets players take control of The Rock, Steve Austin, Mick Foley, D-Generation-X, Kane, The Undertaker and Bret Hart. This is a nice change as it will focus on a legendary era, classic storylines, and WWE legends. The WWE Universe 3.0 mode gives players even more control on how they wish to play than ever before.

The Walking Dead: Episodes 4 & 5
The episodic game based on Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead comic book series has been greeted with critical acclaim. The first three episodes of the five part game have already been released and now we await the final two episodes, Around Every Corner and No Time Left. The game follows the story of Lee Everett and a group of survivors who are fighting off zombies and doing everything they can to survive in an emotional thrill ride of a game.
